Home Listing Tips

Avoid Scary Halloween Décor:

Taking it easy with decorations doesn’t mean you can’t have a pumpkin or two on the porch, or maybe some fall-themed foliage surrounding your property. Talk to your listing agent about some holiday decor tips.

Have a Halloween-Themed Open House:

Decorate the inside of your home for a Halloween-themed open house. Remember no scary decorations! This works best on the weekend before, or directly on Halloween. Think about adding activities for the kids like a pumpkin painting area or an apple bobbing barrel.

Give away Treats with Property Flyers:

Have a little candy apple or bags of treats with your flyers for potential buyers. For agents hosting an open house, why not add your business card letting other homeowners know that your selling homes in the area!

Illuminate the Home:

As we move closer to winter the daylight hours get shorter, showings may happen during the evening. Make sure to have plenty of indoor lighting to ensure the home is maximizing its buying potential. Maybe look into installing landscape lighting.
